As I was coming home from the National Dance Day dance-a-thon in downtown Los Angeles, I spotted this home-made Special Olympics emblem in the park by the Gold Line Metro Station. It is clearly visible to Metro passengers. Like many other cities and town around greater L.A., South Pasadena had hosted an event for one nation’s Olympic team–I’m not sure which country the Olympians came from. (I’ll post photos of the National Dance Day event later.)
