If you are anywhere in the Los Angeles area check out the free performances of Taming of the Shrew and Twelfth Night by the Independent Shakespeare Company. Far away from the big outdoor theaters, like the Hollywood Bowl and Greek Theater, this company of actors performs in a simple grassy bowl by the old zoo. I was so enthalled by the performance that I forgot to take photos of them, but did take a couple of pictures of the Invertigo Dance Company which served as a “warm-up” act.
